“Room could use some refurbish, but i loved the terrace with jungle feeling. Locals were nice and helpful, location is 8-10 minutes of walk from the centre. The town i felt to be safe, ideal location if you plan to visit cenotes around, or Chicen Itza. Breakfast was too simple for me, i could imagine more options. The town itself could be visited in few hours, not too much activity available. Big like for the private parking we could use, where they locked the gate overnight!”

“The rooms were clean and roomy. The mattress could use replacement. Past commitments mentioned the noise. This, in fact, is true. Barking dogs are the main source, but if you intend to sleep early, you must also contend with the bar a few doors down and awful karaoke singers. The traffic noise is not bad. Perhaps the hotel can talk to the neighbors with the poorly behaving dogs. I suggest ear plugs when visiting here. When we asked for two extra pillows, they could only offer one. As an elderly couple, having that extra pillow helps ease back and knee pain. The breakfast was better than the continental type I was expecting. They put us on the second floor and did not offer any help with getting our bags up the flight of stairs. I like to consider ourselves as a spry couple in our 70s, but the second floor has a long stairway and the courtyard is gravel meaning we had to carry our luggage across from check-in and up the stairs. It's likely the longest haul of luggage during our month tour of Mexico. The morning staff at breakfast are friendly and attentive. The location is near some of the best restaurants in town.”
